Did your manufacture quote you an exuberant amount to replace any of the above filters? Tuned2Race can help you fix the problem for a fraction of the cost as compared to your manufacturer. These systems are installed in cars to meet the emission standards for many diesel vehicles. Unfortunately, when these systems fail owners have to foot the bill to repair these systems. In countries where these systems are not mandatory Tuned2Race can assist you in removing the DPF / CAT / EGR or AdBlue at a fraction of the cost.
After removing the DPF / CAT / EGR or AdBlue system you should see the following benefits:
To remove any of the DPF / CAT / EGR or AdBlue system can be done in a couple of hours. When we are done your vehicle will be 100% back to normal.
Depending on the system that you want to remove our technicians will either physically remove the parts or unplug them.
After the faulty parts have been removed or unplugged, the vehicles check engine light will normally come on. To fix the check engine light our engineers will re-program the vehicles ECU to ensure you never have a check engine light problem again!
Once completed, your car will be 100% back to normal. No more limp mode, no more check engine light, and up to 10% improved fuel efficiency
To remove the DPF/CAT/EGR or AdBlue is a simple 2 step process.
The first step is to remove the actual faulty part or to unplug the system causing the engine to go into limp mode. For DPF and CAT removals the workshops normally cut the clogged filter out of the exhaust. For EGR and Adblue systems some cars require the systems to be unplugged while on other cars the systems can be left plugged in. Once the DPF/CAT/EGR or AdBlue system has been removed or unplugged the cars engine control unit (ECU) will register that the system has been removed.
The second step is to delete the DPF/CAT/EGR or AdBlue from the vehicles ECU. Once the system has been deleted from the ECU the car will essentially not know that it has any of these systems so the engine light will disappear and the car will be out of limp mode. To delete these systems from the ECU can either be done through the OBDII port of the car (70% of the time) or the cars ECU has to be removed and programmed on the bench ( 30% of the time). If the vehicle is programmed through the OBD port it is as simple as connecting a laptop to the vehicle and reprogramming the ECU which normally takes around 30min. When the ECU has to be removed and programmed on the bench it can take up to an hour. All our agents have undergone rigorous training and use only the best tuning tools to ensure that the programming of the ECU can be done without any complications.
Once DPF/CAT/EGR or AdBlue system has been removed or unplugged and the ECU has been reprogrammed the vehicle will be 100% back to normal. Normally vehicle owners also see a decrease in fuel consumption once these systems have been removed.
