To remove any of the DPF / CAT filter can be done in a couple of hours. When we are done your vehicle will be 100% back to normal.
The first step is to remove the actual faulty filter in the exhaust. For DPF and CAT removals the workshops normally cut the clogged filter out of the exhaust. Once the DPF or CAT system has been removed the cars engine control unit (ECU) will register that the system has been removed. This can cause heavy smoke and limp mode.
The second step is to delete the DPF or CAT from the vehicles ECU. Once the ECU has been programmed, the vehicle will be 100% back to normal. To delete these systems from the ECU can either be done through the OBDII port of the car (70% of the time) or the cars ECU has to be removed and programmed on the bench ( 30% of the time). If the vehicle is programmed through the OBD port it is as simple as connecting a laptop to the vehicle and reprogramming the ECU.
All our agents have undergone rigorous training and use only the best tuning tools to ensure that the programming of the ECU can be done without any complications.
